Ranking Methodology
Our provider scores are produced from eight weighted categories. The weights are published below and applied consistently across every provider we score.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate partnerships, commission rates and advertising relationships play no part in scoring. A provider cannot pay for a higher score, a badge or a position in a ranking table.
Where a provider shares common ownership with CFAExam.com, we display an ownership disclosure next to the provider name and on its review page.
Data verification
Scores are published only once the underlying data has been verified by an editor. Prices and features carry the date they were last checked.
We do not publish pass rates attributed to individual prep providers, and we do not publish review or rating counts we cannot substantiate.
Review cycle
Ranking pages carry a last-reviewed date. Pricing is re-checked regularly and rankings are revisited when providers materially change their offering.
